ACS has 185 Local Sections throughout the country. If you are an American Chemical Society (ACS) member you are also automatically a member of your local section. The ACS Orlando Local Section represents seven counties in Central Florida: Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia. The Orlando Section by-laws may be obtained here: ACS Orlando by-laws
One of a growing number of ACS Local Sections, the Orlando Section promotes public awareness of chemistry by being involved in community outreach programs and by working with students and teachers of chemistry and science. We hope to encourage an interest in the chemical sciences.
